Shivaji Maharaj is celebrated even today as the avatar of Gods come to establish Swaraj or self- rule and infuse a sense of patriotic pride in a country, severely battered by alien invasions and rulers. Facing stiff opposition from formidable enemies, he successfully maneuvered his small force of soldiers to establish HINDAVI SWARAJ.
