Dancing Shiva with a Trishul

Lord Shiva is judged as the best dancer in the universe. His grace and vigor knows no bounds when the famous Tandava is being performed. But Tandava is reputed to be the dance of destruction. When the earth shudders under his thundering footsteps, when the wind becomes a thunderstorm in his tossing long hair locks, when the heavens melt in the heat generated by his movements, when the waters flood the earth with the graceful hand gestures, Tandava is the dance of Shiva before the awesome destructions of this universe begins.
